Get Help
How to get help
If you need help from our foodbank there are a few simple steps to follow.
Our foodbank works using a voucher referral system.
If you need food and are unable to afford it, and live in the Helston and The Lizard area, then we can issue food upon presentation of a foodbank voucher from one of our voucher referral agencies.
Our voucher agencies include the local GP surgeries and schools, social services, housing providers and charities such as DIAL, Age UK, Christians Against Poverty, Citizens Advice Cornwall. See contact list below. Please contact the agency most relevant to support you.
If none of the above suggestions fit your circumstances, then we recommend that you contact either Cornwall Community Gateway (tel. 01872 266383 / email. [email protected]) or the ‘Help Through Hardship’ helpline (0808 208 2138). Both helplines can provide advice and support and issue vouchers for this foodbank.
If you require further information or assistance please contact us during our foodbank opening times.
